We are here to get you the care you deserve.
About Us
At Functional Therapy & Wellness, we work with those who have been in accidents in the work place, or on motor vehicles, or patients who have disabilities or illnesses that hinder their day-to-day life. This includes those with mental health diagnosis and psychological challenges, acute, chronic or catastrophic orthopaedic and musculoskeletal injuries, concussion injuries, and the aging population.
Our client’s wellbeing and return to function is at the center of our work. We take a holistic approach tailored to the client’s recovery goals, combining high- quality care with evidence-based therapy.
Our team is built of experienced Occupational Therapists, licensed to practice in British Columbia.

Why work with us
Our Approach:
Our assessments are specific to the industry and lifestyle of our clients, ensuring treatment tailored to the client’s needs. While each recovery is different, we always take a goal-driven approach based on the desired outcomes of our client and key stakeholders.
Flexible Appointment Times:
We understand ‘regular business hours' don’t work for everyone, so we offer flexible scheduling with services available on evenings and weekends. Urgent services are also provided, as determined by our team, and can typically be provided same or next-day.
We Come to You:
We provide our services in the comfort of your home, at work or any other preferred location. This enables us to more thoroughly assess your concerns in your 'real world' environment. We serve a ~50km radius of Port Moody to meet the needs of as many clients.
Experts in the field of Rehabilitation:
All of Therapists have multiple years of experience in outpatient rehabilitation, hold multiple treatment focused certifications, and are committed to ongoing education so that we are up to date on the best practices for our care.
