Ergonomic Assessment

We offer consultations within home and office settings to evaluate work environments and tasks to identify potential hazards or risk factors that could lead to health problems for employees. These assessments seek to increase worker efficiency and safety. They identify ways to improve employee function in order to reduce the risk of injury or discomfort. An ergonomic assessment can involve a range of activities, including reviewing work tasks and processes, observing workers in their natural work environments, collecting data on physical demands and exposures, and recommending changes to equipment, work practices, or the physical environment to reduce risks and potential costs.

Ergonomic Assessments & Recommendations

One of our Occupational Therapists will assess the workplace and recommend strategies to optimize the environment. They observe the individual or group for education purposes and provide intel considering previous injuries, individual limitations and job demands for the client. If necessary, the therapist can also help the client obtain customized ergonomic office equipment.
